- Designer and co-author of a browser-based project reporting application
(WebSpeed 3.1D). This project makes use of Progress Software
Professional Services' PS:eScript web development framework.
Projects successfully completed (primarily for software houses, most recent first)
include:
- Design and development of an extranet-based application for periodic bulk
data upload and manipulation, and for end-user data entry using web forms
(WebSpeed 3.1D + PS:eScript).
- Design and development of a global intranet/extranet-based complaints
management system, including technical abstracts and a searchable
knowledgebase (WebSpeed 3.1C).
- Development of a general purpose Outlook-style interface for Dynamics-based
applications. (V9.1D GUI and Dynamics V1.1A)
- Lead developer for a major international home assistance insurance system.
(V9.1B/C GUI + WebClient + AppServer + ADM2 + Roundtable + QuickAddress +

- Design and development of an internet shopping system for a major UK retailer,
including integration with QuickAddress and secure credit card transactions via

- Development of an interface between OCR software and the purchase invoicing /
delivery note module of a catering industry package (V8.3B GUI).
- Full implementation & some development (mainly muli-currency multi-national
invoicing modules, both purchase and sales) of an international container
transportation & logistics system, with interface to Baan Ledgers
(V8.3A ChUI).
- Full database design & system specification + some programming for a major
new package in the commercial seeds industry (V8.2B GUI + ERwin).
- Development of parts of demand pattern analysis system for an energy
consultancy, plus rolling migration from a selection of disparate legacy
systems (V8.2B GUI).
- Developing new V8 Smart Objects templates & ERwin
macros for a GUI warehousing system.
- Progress client/server installation tasks.
- Package integration consultancy, troubleshooting, design & development.
- Full development & implementation of data migration software
from one application package to another (V6 in 1995 + Linc to V8 in
1997/98).
- GUI migration strategy development, plus migration application

production control using bar-coded pallets of stock, and incorporating sale
and purchase order processing and invoicing (V6).

system for commercial cold storage company, including intelligent putaway and
picking algorithms, customer billing triggers & invoicing.
- Enhancements to an accounting package and a property management package
(V7 ChUI).
- Designing and programming enhancements to a plant hire package, including
integration of personnel & payroll modules, full implementation of client
& contact data entry via Postcodes, integration with the Postal Address
